Laura Cannon has been a journalist for 15 years, starting in high fashion at Marie Claire magazine, who told her people would never use online magazines when she suggested they build a website.
She left, to become an internet journalist and editor, mainly in healthcare - on both consumer and professional sites. In at the start of the dot-com bubble, she’s seen online content change from a re-hash of print versions to a multi-platform, consumer-led and -produced medium.
Laura has extensive experience in creating, maintaining and growing online communities and providing content across several platforms for large and small organisations.
She provided the launch content for popular pre-teen site www.habbo.co.uk. She's also managed closed communities for large clients such as AllianceBoots. She is currently Editor of www.pethealthcare.co.uk.
