Background

Tom's background is in web and interactive media production, with some product management and accelerated business development thrown in for good measure!

He left Exeter University in 2000 and dove head first into the dot com boom at e-learning specialist smile-on.com, a “sub company” of Brainspark.

Via a brief stint of freelance work in the public sector, Tom joined AOL, managing advertiser funded projects for a wide range of clients including Ford, Sony, T-Mobile, Boeing and lastminute.com.

Next Tom traded Hammersmith for Camden and joined Campus Group, the UK’s largest student and youth marketing agency, where amongst other things he managed the specification, build, and roll out of student community NewStudent.org.

Post Campus Tom moved to Tangozebra where he looked after online advertising, web and viral projects for an assortment of clients including Natwest, ITV, Cosmos, Channel 4, Citibank and Betfair.

Tom is also Managing Director of social networking specialist Boring, and a consultant to HyperHappen and MAMA Group Plc.
